Our approach

Start small. Prove it. Then scale.

You should not have to commit to a large programme to find out whether analytics will pay off. Almost every engagement begins with a fixed-scope diagnostic on data you already have, aimed at the question that costs you most.

The engagement

Four steps, and an off-ramp at each one.

01 · SCOPE

Agree the question

We define one clear question, the data it needs and a fixed price. No open-ended retainer to sign.

02 · DIAGNOSE

Work your data

We analyse historical claims and policy data in a secure environment and surface what it shows, within weeks.

03 · DECIDE

Review the findings

We walk you through the evidence and a clear recommendation. If it does not warrant more, we say so.

04 · SCALE

Operationalise

Where it pays, we move from one-off diagnostic to a repeatable capability inside your workflow.

Principles

How we do the work matters as much as what we find.

Explainable, not opaque Every score and recommendation carries its reasoning. We do not ship black boxes.
Human oversight Models inform decisions; they do not make them. Your people stay in control.
Your systems, kept We work with the data and tools you run today. No rip-and-replace.
Security first Privacy and governance are designed in from the outset, not added at the end.
Specialist focus Travel and medical insurance only. We know your data before you describe it.
Evidence over promises We would rather show you a finding than sell you a projection.

The portfolio diagnostic

A fixed-scope first step, with a real answer at the end of it.

Most clients start here. One question, a defined slice of historical data, a fixed price and a clear finding, delivered in weeks. It is the lowest-risk way to see what your data can do.

ScopeOne agreed question
DataA defined historical slice
PriceFixed, agreed up front
TimelineWeeks, not quarters
OutcomeFindings and a recommendation
WEEKS 1–2
Scope and secure transfer The question is fixed, the data slice agreed, and transfer completed into the secure environment.
WEEKS 3–4
Analysis and interim readout We work the data and share an interim view early enough for you to steer where we dig deeper.
WEEKS 5–6
Findings and decision A walkthrough of the evidence, a written recommendation, and an honest view on whether to go further.

We would rather lose a follow-on than stretch a finding. The diagnostic exists so that both of us can decide on evidence.

THE TSP VIEW

Questions

What clients ask about working with us.

Fixed, and agreed before we start. The price is set by the question and the data slice, not by the time it ends up taking. If scoping reveals the question cannot be answered with the data you hold, we tell you before you commit.

A named sponsor who owns the question, a data contact who can extract the agreed slice, and availability for a short interim readout. Most clients spend less than a day of internal effort on a diagnostic.

In a secure, access-controlled environment, under an agreement that covers confidentiality, data protection and deletion. Data is minimised to the scope of the question and destroyed or returned at the end of the engagement.

We say so, in writing, with the evidence. A clean bill of health on a fraud or channel question is a real answer — and considerably cheaper than acting on a suspicion that was never tested.

Always. Confidentiality terms are signed before any data moves, and our case references are anonymised as a matter of policy, not preference.
